Deepika Padukone cuts cake, feeds paparazzo outside airport as she travels with Ranveer Singh days after birthday

Deepika Padukone celebrated her 34th birthday in a sweet way as she cut a cake and fed it to a paparazzo outside the airport. The actress was accompanied by her husband Ranveer Singh, who also joined in the fun. The couple was on their way to Lucknow, where they planned to spend some time with the acid attack survivors of the city.

Deepika, who will be seen playing an acid attack survivor in her upcoming film Chhapaak, was touched by the gesture of one of the photographers, who brought a cake for her. She thanked him and shared the cake with him and other media persons. Ranveer also sang the birthday song for his wife and posed for pictures with her.

Deepika looked stunning in a black outfit and matching boots, while Ranveer sported a casual look in a white T-shirt and green pants. The duo was all smiles as they headed to the airport. Deepika’s birthday celebration was also captured in a video that went viral on social media.

Chhapaak, directed by Meghna Gulzar, is based on the true story of Laxmi Agarwal, who was attacked with acid when she was 15 years old. The film also stars Vikrant Massey and is slated to release on January 10. Deepika has also turned producer for the first time with this film, which has been praised for its powerful trailer and title track.
