Realme is gearing up to launch its latest flagship phone, the Realme GT 5 Pro, in India soon. The company’s India and Europe CEO, Madhav Sheth, recently hinted at the launch of the device on Twitter, saying that he is “excited to bring the next generation of performance to India”. The Realme GT 5 Pro was unveiled in China last month, and it boasts of some impressive specifications and features. Here’s everything you need to know about the Realme GT 5 Pro.


Design and Display


The Realme GT 5 Pro sports a premium design with a glass or eco leather back, an aluminum frame, and an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance. The phone comes in three color options: Black, Silver, and Orange. The phone features a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution of 1264 x 2780 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and a peak brightness of 4500 nits. The display also has an in-display fingerprint sensor and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

Performance and Software

The Realme GT 5 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is a 4nm octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 3.3GHz. The phone comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone runs on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14, which offers a smooth and customizable user experience.

Camera and Battery

The Realme GT 5 Pro has a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary camera with a Sony LYT-T808 sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 2.7x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 112-degree field of view. The phone can record 8K videos at 24fps and 4K videos at 60fps, with support for Dolby Vision and gyro-EIS. The phone also has a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The phone packs a 5400mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. The phone can charge from 1% to 50% in just 12 minutes with the wired charger.

Price and Availability

The Realme GT 5 Pro is expected to launch in India soon, but the exact date and price are not yet confirmed. The phone is priced at CNY 3,999 (approx. Rs. 46,500) for the 12GB+256GB variant, CNY 4,499 (approx. Rs. 52,300) for the 16GB+512GB variant, and CNY 4,999 (approx. Rs. 58,100) for the 16GB+1TB variant in China. The phone will compete with other flagship phones like the OnePlus 10 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S22, and Xiaomi 12 in the Indian market.
