Samsung's New Galaxy Phones Are Coming Jan. 17

Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its highly anticipated mobile devices, likely the Galaxy S24 series, scheduled for January 17. Representing one of the early major smartphone releases in 2024, the new devices are poised to introduce a host of enhancements, with a particular emphasis on innovative AI-powered features alongside routine camera and processor upgrades.

Traditionally, Samsung has distinguished its new phone models through camera improvements, but this year, the spotlight is on the integration of AI into the Galaxy S24 series. These devices are anticipated to be the pioneers featuring Galaxy AI, described by the company as a "comprehensive mobile AI experience" since its teaser in November. Google's Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, for instance, showcase AI-driven photo editing features that enable users to erase, move, and resize objects in photos. The eagerly anticipated Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor from Qualcomm, expected to power the Galaxy S24 series, is designed to bring additional AI capabilities to smartphones.
