Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus launched in India at Rs 31,999; check offers, specs, features, other details



Xiaomi has launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, in India today. The phone is the most premium offering in the Redmi Note 13 series, which also includes the Redmi Note 13 Pro and the Redmi Note 13 5G. The Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus boasts of a 6.67-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a 200MP triple rear camera setup, a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra processor, and a 5000mAh battery with 120W HyperCharge fast charging support.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus is priced at Rs 31,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, and Rs 34,999 for the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. The phone will be available in four colour options: Black, White, Violet, and Camo Green. The first sale of the phone will take place on January 10, 2024, via Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and other online and offline retail partners. Xiaomi is also offering a Rs 2,000 instant discount on HDFC Bank credit and debit cards, as well as no-cost EMI options.


The Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus runs on Android 13 with MIUI 14 on top. It features a 6.67-inch OLED display with 1220x2712 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 1800 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The display also has an in-display fingerprint sensor and a punch-hole cutout for the 16MP selfie camera. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset, which is a 4nm octa-core processor with two Cortex-A715 cores clocked at 2.8GHz and six Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. The phone also has a Mali-G610 MC4 GPU, up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.


The Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus sports a triple rear camera setup, which consists of a 200MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, multi-directional PDAF, and OIS; an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and 120-degree field of view; and a 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear cameras can record 4K videos at 24/30fps and 1080p videos at 30/60/120fps. The phone also has a dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, and panorama modes.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 120W HyperCharge fast charging, which can charge the phone from 0 to 100 percent in just 19 minutes, as per Xiaomi. The phone also supports PD 3.0 and reverse charging. The phone has a USB Type-C port, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, infrared, and GPS. The phone also has stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res audio. The phone measures 161.4 x 74.2 x 8.9mm and weighs 204.5g. The phone is also IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.


The Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus is one of the first phones to be HyperOS-ready, which is Xiaomi’s upcoming unified operating system that will work across smartphones, tablets, laptops, smart TVs, and IoT devices. Xiaomi has not revealed the exact timeline for the HyperOS rollout, but has said that it will be coming soon. The HyperOS is expected to bring a seamless and consistent user experience across different devices, as well as new features and improvements.
